India

India is currently passing through the 20-year period of Venus. Although Venus is afflicted in the chart, normally Venus is not a violent period. The fact that Pakistan is now running the period of Ketu which is very aggressive and warlike is probably why most of the aggression in the India/Pakistan conflict seems to be initiated by the Pakistanis. True to form for Ketu, it has been characterized by terrorist attacks and secret military operations by subversive groups.

The fact that India begins a new planetary period in 2009, while Pakistan ends the Violent period of Ketu in 2007, suggests that there may be general improvement in their relationship after that time.
