Germany entered the 19 year Major period of Saturn in June of 2000. This period will produce struggles and difficulties in the country, particularly in the first half of the period. Saturn is placed in the 6th house (struggle, enemies, health issues).

For the economy, this period suggest difficulties in the first half of the period. Saturn is aspected by Mars, suggesting that after initial struggles in the first half of the period, business and industry will progress in the second half of the period, after 2010. The first half of the Saturn period, however, will probably give economic struggles and regrouping by businesses.
